We had a lot of buyers at Bossie Biddies! One of our Serama pullets now lives in Memphis, TN, thank you Teresa!
Then Susan and Donnie from Waxahachie picked up a beautiful trio of Seramas and two of our cute Spitzhauben pullets for their grandson.
And this morning Kessa and her sweet baby boy picked up a young Spitzhauben hen.
But don't worry there are more chicks available!
Two trios of lovely Seramas went to their new home with Larry and Lisa Money!
They purchased Rusty, Rosie and Valerie.
And I let my nice cockerel, Freckles, go with two beautiful lacey girls.
We hatched five ducklings overnight. They are so cute and soft. The one on the bottom left is crested like its father! They are for sale for $7 each.
With some new chickens added to our group, it was time to get the State P-T tester to come by and certify the flock free of Pullorum Typhoid. No problems were found so we are all legal again for a year.
Thanks, Dan Dykes, who is now covering our region!
Angie - if you transport chickens or sell eggs, you are supposed to have them tested. It is a free service.
Thank you, Bev and Stan White, for purchasing another one of our pretty Serama pullets. We hope that you enjoy her!
The newest addition to Bossie Biddies. "Maizie" is a Brabanter and is quite the celebrity around Northeast Dallas. Since she crows her mom couldn't keep her in the city. I offered to take her and I think she is precious. Thank you, Melanie!
After a short quarantine period and P-T testing, Maizie will join our other Brabanter hen, Brassy.
This is Brassy, our first Brabanter. She lays wonderful large white eggs and we are looking forward to one of our young cockerels that lives at Ann's to get old enough to come live with Brassy and Maizie so we can have some cute Brabanter chicks!
We added the blog section to our new website in hopes we can keep our readers up to date on what is happening on our farms. We also use our page on Facebook so be sure to check there as well.
